Q: What is a web host and do you provide this service?
A: A web host provider is a company who rents out web space and bandwidth to those who wish to publish a web site. The web host gives its customer an account, which can be used to upload HTML documents, PHP scripts, graphics, and more.
I do not offer web hosting services at this time. However, I can recommend two fine hosts, midPhase and Anhosting (sister companies).
I highly suggest that you register your domain name with a company that is separate from your web host.
Q: Do you provide domain names?
A: No, I do not provide domain names at this time. I can recommend Godaddy for inexpensive and reliable domain name services.

Q: If I register my domain and purchase my hosting on my own, how do you access my information to upload my site?
A: You will need to give me the usernames and passwords for your accounts with the domain registrar and the hosting company. You can be sure that I never share any of this information and use it only as it pertains to my working on your website.
Q: What kind of payment options do you offer?
A: I accept payments through Paypal, a secure and free way to send and receive money.
Usually, I require a 50% down payment before work begins. The final 50% is due once I’ve delivered the final product. If the total price of the project is over $1,200, the payment plan will be about 1/3 before work begins, 1/3 upon approval of final design, and 1/3 upon completion of the project.
*If you have special needs regarding a pricing plan, please don’t hesitate to ask me about it. I don’t mind being flexible if the circumstances require it.
Q: What will it cost to have a custom website designed by you?
A: Because each website is unique in its design and purpose, I cannot guarantee a total price until I know more about your website needs. Do you need a redesign? Do you need an entirely new, custom design? How about a CMS? These are all questions that need answered before I can give you an accurate pricing proposal.
My prices are based on the size of your project, the components needed, and how long it will take me to complete. This includes initial time spent in the creative process and then the time it takes to execute the design. For smaller projects, the time estimate varies.
